Carob Chip Peanut Butter Cups

Your dog will go NUTS over these carob chip peanut butter cups!

Now when you're eating your own frozen treats you will no longer be drawn into those big puppy dog eyes looking at you, just begging, waiting and wanting a lick from your ice cream cone.

Now you can make your dog his very own ice cream!

Ingredients:

32 oz plain yogurt (low or non-fat)
1 cup natural peanut butter
1/2 cup carob chips

You Will Need:

1 Muffin pan that holds 6 muffins
Paper Muffin Cup Liners
Freezer bag

Instructions:

  1. Divide yogurt evenly into each cup of a lined muffin pan (6 muffin cups).
  2. Scoop the peanut butter into a small bowl.
  3. In a microwave safe bowl, gradually melt carob in the microwave. Make sure to stir after every 15-30 seconds. NOTE: All microwaves cook differently, so keep an eye on the chips so they don't scorch.
  4. Pour the melted carob into the peanut butter and stir until well mixed.
  5. Place a spoonful of the peanut butter mixture on top of each muffin cup.
  6. Freeze until solid.

These homemade frozen dog treats will last about 2 months in the freezer.

I use a freezer bag to keep our treats in.
